They make it fun to go to work in the morning. A 10-hour day feels like 6.  I don't see the dividing line between work and play because of the fun we have.

Reasons for working at Kelowna Honda Powerhouse: I was living in Winnipeg so let’s just say the climate and the chance to work in such a great organization was the attraction. I got to leave my HUGE winter jacket at home.

My boss: Big Al, he's a 'take charge' kind of guy. He follows through on promises. He is a bulldozer with Nerf fists.

Co-Workers: Be so much easier if I was by myself…(Kidding) They make it fun to go to work in the morning. A 10 hour day feels like 6. I don’t see the dividing line between work and play because of the fun we have.

Defining moment of choosing to work here: Al’s belief in what he was trying to do and his views on industry trends. I knew that within that structure I would be successful. Also, being from Winnipeg…the bar didn’t have to be raised too high. I just needed to get the #@! out of there.

The Flat side: I am working so hard to make customers happy that I often don't get the recreational time to enjoy the sport. Plus, I’m going to start taking lunches. Looking at me you would think I take a lot of lunches but I don’t. I’m like the fat guy on LOST. I’ve starved myself so my body is retaining water I think.

Why I still like it here: We have a good group of core players who all have a big role in the organization. We are all pulling on the rope to make this store legendary in every way. That’s a big dream but with this team… it’s going to happen.
